Teaching ~ An Art

Hello guys , welcome again . 

Today I just want to share something from my bottom of heart. Even to be closer , from my soul. It's more like a question that haunted me for years. I don't know how many teachers are going to read this. But still hoping at some point they find this. 

Teaching : A passion , a profession compared with none . A  teacher - treats , educates , changes not one or two but a whole generation!! Being a teacher, is more like a dignity or honour. He/She is the King or the Queen without a proper crown or kingdom. Ruling the people might seem easy , but not the students . Though they get sallary, they also get pressures and stress as GST. Many more!!! How hard right !! To be a teacher!

Students!! Hold on , don't jump on me , I haven't come to the point . Teachers have lots of work . They struggle a lot , they have to take care of their own family, take care of us, teach us , sacrifices their own family time and ready to do anything for students just to see them succeed . I think they would never get happy even their own daughter/son  succeed. 

I do respect teachers a lot . We students do !! But beleive me there are teachers who doesn't mean anything. We get tired hearing from them . 

Yup ! Hard to hear! But there are!!! 

I have seen teachers who give everything, literally everything for their students. And also there are teachers who never even care for the students. Showing personal disagreements with students, targeting students, demotivating them, degrading them, showing favouritism, and so on. Additionally there are teachers who got very good knowledge in the subject but their interests in teaching and making the students understand the concepts is literally worst. Being rude to students is different kind to state. Some be rude so students could do their work properly atleast by the fear. It's seem to be ok. But does it always works???. We need to think. 

Naturally students won't feel listening if the teacher is very strict and rude to them. Why should they sit in fear for the whole one hour class a day??. Is it necessary for the students to fear for teachers?. Fear is good. But remember to some extent only. If you are teacher , and students fear seeing you , is that out of respect or stress??? . If it's out of stress better please change. Because that charges the mental health of the students. What is the need of a teacher to be more aggressive towards the students? What if a kid doesn't do his/her work properly, doesn't understand the concept? Not all have the ability to learn at the glance they see and hear from resources. 

Dealing with syllabus completion stress , they forget to look after the understanding ability of the students.

And the teachers do have habit of discussing about the students in the staff room / department. Think if a teacher who is rude , has some bad opinion about one particular student. Now that student commits the mistake , As a teacher what you will do ?? Be true to self. Will you simply say the mistake that the student made or your own opinions included in it?? By the way you know your answer. The opinion of the other fellow teacher towards that particular student changes according to the statements heard by them. That's worse even more. If you get to know about a student even from the fellow staff , please make sure that's true. As always said ".... What you investigate is real ". Maybe the student had a problem at that particular point. Listen to them!!

Here you go teachers , as they always say "If a doctor fails , one or two patients collapse, if a engineer fails , one or two buildings collapse but if a teacher fails the whole generation collapse." Being a teacher is a pride. Trust me , it is. 

Am not against scolding/ being strict. But as a staff you know more than I do. It is important at the same time,....
