Hunger !

Hunger - How to explain it ??

Can we claim it as just a 

Ghrelin's call to the hypothalamus! 

Maybe.... But what about....

The aroma that flows over the air, 

And makes the mouth water,...

The simple sight of the food,

Takes us to the flight mood,

And tempt us to taste. 

Now, Do you feel the taste when you are really hungry ??? 

Quite thinkable!! Even the bitterguard tastes better when you are starving, Isn't it??

That's true. I have felt it. Sometimes...

I have seen people who brings two box of lunch and still grumbling about the food. And I have also seen people who doesn't even get that food, who doesn't have someone to getup early to cook for them , who doesn't have someone to pack for them , who doesn't have someone to care for them. I have seen people doing all kinds of odd jobs, just for food !!! Life isn't same for all. 

Who cares about the person who cooks it?. If nobody cares about the person who cooks , there is no wonder if one doesn't care about the person who harvested it. If respecting one in front of us isn't possible, what about the ones who aren't??

We do have taste buds. We relish and enjoy the food we eat. But how many of us have that chance??. Truly speaking only a few !! 

While walking to college, I see many people living on streets in need of alms. My thoughts would be like what if I were them. Would I get the courage to appeal for the kindness. Crossing all the boundaries the fear, shyness, embarrassment, what not. What made them to this extreme - poverty?, to be more precise ~ hunger!!. What made them? 

The answer lies in one such quote , famous line by Mother Teresa , 

“When a poor person dies of hunger it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.”

And also remember one more quote , I just got suggested randomly, " A man died of hunger but food was served at his funeral...

when you're less busy think about it. "

Do you know the fact day , In the world with 8.2 billion people, 25,000 people die from hunger each day , with over 10,000 of those being children.

If this is the locutionary sentence, the perlocutionary would be : we as a 8.2 billion people failed as citizens , failed as brothers and sisters , and in fact failed as human!

Well , Grateful for the food that we get , for the life we live today is the dream for some !! (⁠｡⁠♡⁠‿⁠♡⁠｡⁠)

Thank the one who cooks for you,

For they give own time in it , 

Just to see you enjoy eating.

Cooking is not as easy dude✨
